Hey there songwriters. We've come into 2025 with hope and creative passion, but also some tough things too. Here in Los Angeles we've witnessed devastating fires that have destroyed property, homes and some lives. First hand, I've seen my cousin lose her home to the Palisades fire these past few days and Songsalive! wants to share the fundraiser set up to help them. See below. The unimaginable has occurred to my cousins.. This past week, they lost their entire home and everything in it, to the Palisades Fire in Pacific Palisades, Los Angeles. Their home is gone. I know so many have lost homes here, and it's terrifying and too real when your beloved family is affected. We ran a contest over New Year’s to WIN A STARBUCKS GIFT CARD: 🥳 thetime for the big Songsalive! Happy-New-Year-Shine-Extravaganza. 🎶 🎇 Members had to post theirbest and newest positive fun upbeat “Happy New Year” song from NYE to 5th January in the Shine space Backstage. The post/song that has the most 💕hearts would receive a Starbucks gift card from Songsalive! 🚀🧨🎉
It was a close call with neck and neck competitors who followed the guidelines (see link above if you're curious)
