This event will offer a Song Critique Session + Music Industry Discussion - focusing on in-the-round song critique where Songsalive! and each other provide feedback and positive critique, sharing insights on how to take your song to the next level.
Jimi Yamagishi will listen & give feedback to your songs and talk about why your music is important, why it needs to be preserved, and ways you can be successful that at first are not about revenue but actually are.
Jimi Yamagishi first had a song published in 1973, & has continued to more forward since then. He’s seen a lot of changes in the music industry, and learned a lot along the way. As the director of SongNet, he’s in touch with a lot of artists and industry gatekeepers, and has helped many understand where they fit in the community, because he believes every song has a value and very artist has a voice. With over 200 of his own songs on hisYouTube page, he’s a multi-genre writer, and journalist with dozens of articles in various publications. And he looks forward to meeting everyone at every place he’s at!
