This event will offer a Song Critique Session + Music Industry Discussion - focusing on in-the-round song critique where Songsalive! and each other provide feedback and positive critique, sharing insights on how to take your song to the next level.

Barry DeVorzon is President and CEO of MasterWriter Inc. Before founding MasterWriter he enjoyed a highly successful career in music. Composer/artist Barry DeVorzon has long been a prominent name in the recording industry. He has had a total of twenty hit records, which he has written and/or produced. He discovered the highly successful group, The Association, and developed one of the most successful independent record and publishing companies of that time. The list of hits that came from his endeavor include, Along Comes Mary, Cherish, Never My Love, Rhythm Of The Rain, Dreamin, Just Married, Hey Little One, Angel On My Shoulder, and Let's Dance. Barry has composed the music for a number of major features, including Bless the Beasts and the Children, Hard Times, Dillinger, The Warriors, Ninth Configuration, Xanadu, Tattoo, Looker, and Exorcist III. Recently his publishing company, Jelinda Music, has enjoyed a successful co-venture with EMI Publishing in Nashville. This effort has resulted in recordings by Tracy Bird, John Michael Montgomery, Trace Atkins, Kenny Chesney, and Lee Ann Womack.
